Got to uni around 11am to find Wormbo87 on the Concourse. He no longer has to do jury duty. Helped set up Consoles before heading to class.
ItM review was more of the same that we'd been doing the past few weeks. Lycurgus showed up.
Headed to Consoles after class, which finished at 12:50. Bummed around a bit, trying not to fret about meeting up with Net147. Phone kept running out of memory for messages.
Met up with Net147 at 13:20. Exchanged very few words with him. Received back a red packet containing $35.30. Was released from the promise I made. A friend came past but I had to tell her it was not a good time. I'd promised not to cut myself.
Headed back into the air conditioned tower to bum around before remembering at 13:50 that I really should be looking stuff up in preparation for my interview. Headed to a 1.3.lab to do so.
14:05, walked with Rel up to 52 Goulburn St. It was very hot. Arrived there around 14:15, felt very silly since the interview was at 15:15, and chatted with him about random topics. If being chased by a zombie, never set it on fire.
He headed back to Consoles at 15:00 to leave me some time to ponder/worry about how to answer behavioural interview questions.
Interview went fairly well; one male from HR and 2 females from IT, both previously graduates. Had to be given fairly pointed prompts twice to give specific answers that they were looking for. Was glad to have looked up information beforehand. It lasted from 15:20 to 16:20.
Walked back to Consoles, played some Guitar Hero, then helped pack up. Went to get food with Rel before the Hunters were expected to show up. He bought Subway; I got some bread from Bread Top. On the way back, we ran into Deckker, who was also headed for food; chatted briefly about various things.
Arrived back at the Bunker to find some people watching Dororo after having eaten food from a $5 buffet being held on the Concourse.
The Hunters never showed up; 2 out of 3 who were present decided to go to a party, and the remaining one decided to make a new character. Rel and I left at 22:00. Train to end of the blue line. Grosvenor (X Bronte), Oxford, Waverley dead end (X Hollywood, Botany), X Council, Dalley, Paul.
Stayed over at Rel's place. They are not going to have a problem with home invasion. On the other hand, getting out if there's a fire may be a problem since the place is full of creaky wooden floorboards. The bathroom was cramped and distinctly European; Rel remarked with some irritation that it had been well designed to begin with, and his family had modified it into something crap.
At the bar after Vox Concert 2, I remember someone remarking on the lack of partitions in European bathrooms, if only for the purposes of keeping water from splashing everywhere out of the shower area. The one in this house was a prime example, possessing a single row of ~10cm cubes delineating the shower area. Water splashed everywhere when I took a shower.
Heard someone leaving the house around 10:00, but didn't get out of bed until 13:00. Brushed his hair for him after he wetted it; fine curly hair is impossible to brush when totally dry. His computer monitor is broken. Had a breakfast of cereal and sandwich with blackberry spread, then headed back towards uni on bus 380. Rel pointed out the family's antique shop on the way, which was closed. (Tues-Fri 11-17, Sat 10-14)
Got off before where we were intending because some drunk hobos boarded the bus. Went to Games Paradise, then to World Square for pearl milk tea. Rel had earlier received a call from Sophismata to watch a movie; having heard nothing about it, he now returned the call while I led the way to cache GC1CGQM. Was unfortunately unsuccessful at locating the cache; we were chased off by the excess of flies. Went through Central Station in an attempt to find the cache there but was also unsuccessful. Decided that geocaching in the middle of the day was a stupid idea and went to uni.
Spent some time in 1.6.megalab looking at webcomics and playing Flash Tron before moving back to the Bunker to work on filling das into the walls of cardboard buildings, since by now it was ~17:00 and painting a miniature would have taken too long. Chatted idly before I had to go at 17:35.
