Continuing on about first lectures... they're boring!
After a bit, I realised just what an Information System is - just a system that deals with and manages information - and it was all HS work from there, just on a larger scale. Input-Processing-Output stuff. Heaps of real life examples. The lecturer gave us the lecture slides for the next 3 lectures, it pretty much has all the info there, so yeah...

I need to check out my textbook list....
