Greyscale, moonlight, shining down through the window
cold light, barely enough to see by,
but enough to give away positions
silhouette
powerful wings, wingbeats
a meal
soft footsteps in wet grass, falling star
quiet sobs
loneliness, not quite cold
not again. wishing. no, leave me be.
unfairness and normality of day
not present, not here. no one but one here.
not at night, under this moonlight
the moonlight through the sky, the window, on grass, carpet
knowing hurts. knowing similarity hurts even more
cold metal, wet to the touch
long grass, rare - warm feet
tears of uncertainty, wet on the face
uncertainty, dark ahead, directionless
give it hope
it's not mine to give
don't be so cruel
i'm not, it's not my fault
why not
because only they can do that
cold brick
still warm breath
blade still in pocket, unused
early morning, today, last night, now, later, where?
quiet now
want. pray. guide me. prepare me for the worst.
it has not even started and already it threatens to hurt
does it mean so much to you?
you know that already
in focus. out of focus. tunnelling. blink. don't sleep. let this night inside. perhaps that is enough
It is not, it will do. It will have to. dare not. passive.
will not chase anymore. come, or do not, will not force, free to choose
choose well
hope
waiting. patience.
sleep. dream.
away from the uncertainty. leave it alone.
leave that one alone too. reach out of you must. don't say you weren't warned.
let the dark come. take refuge in it. if you are needed, then you will be found. here is not totally away from hurt, but it is further away
i promise i won't keep you here
i don't believe you. but have no choice. too tired.
come for me. rather risk the hurt than have the loneliness
it hurts too much
please
